Zoroastrianism

Monotheistic religion of ancient Persia, founded by the prophet Zarathustra, also known as Zoroaster. Its basic tenet is a system of ethical dualism between the god of Truth, Ahura Mazda, and the demon of Falsehood, Ahriman.
